Led by P.E. Rubén Corvalán, an NFPA-Approved Training Instructor and Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) with decades of field experience, this instructor-led course provides a comprehensive understanding of electrical safety principles in accordance with OSHA and NFPA standards.

Participants will:

  • Interpret and apply the requirements of NFPA 70E (2024) and related safety programs.
  • Define the roles and responsibilities of employers and employees, qualified and unqualified.
  • Establish an electrically safe work conditions.
  • Determine when energized work is permitted or required under specific conditions.
  • Select and properly apply the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for each task.

This program reviews the key articles of NFPA 70E, covers the fundamentals of establishing and maintaining an electrical safety program, and guides participants in developing documented operating procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA 1910 Subpart S and OSHA 1926 Subpart K.

Course Tuition
Tuition is due at the time of registration. Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of payment.

Access to the Live Virtual Training
Ampsafe will email the access link and participation instructions to the registered attendee no later than three (3) business days before the course start date. The session is delivered live and will not be recorded.

NFPA Learning Portal (student access)
Registered attendees will receive an email invitation from the NFPA Learning Portal using the same email address provided at registration.
The Portal provides access to:

  • Course materials and reference documents
  • The post-training online assessment
  • The course evaluation form
  • Certificate download upon completion of all requirements


Completion, CEUs & Certificate

To successfully complete the course and earn 0.7 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a Certificate of Completion, attendees must:

  1. Attend the live session (attendance verified).
  2. Achieve a minimum passing score of 70% on the online assessment within the NFPA Learning Portal (available on the final day of the course, with 90-day access and unlimited attempts).
  3. Complete the course evaluation form within the NFPA Learning Portal.


The Certificate of Completion will be available for download through the Portal once all requirements are fulfilled.

Course Materials
Participant materials (e.g., workbooks and handouts) are provided electronically through the NFPA Learning Portal for personal use. PowerPoint presentation slides are not distributed. Copying, sharing, or redistributing course content without written authorization is strictly prohibited.

Cancellation, Participant Change, and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made seven (7) or more business days before the event: 100% refund.
  • Cancellations made between three (3) and six (6) business days before the event: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made fewer than three (3) business days before the event: no refund or credit.


Participant substitutions are permitted only if requested at least seven (7) business days prior to the event.
Requests submitted less than seven (7) business days before the event will not be processed.

AMPSAFE does not provide options for alternate class dates or rescheduling.
