The Grid Code was created by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) on April 8, 2016.
- It is a document that establishes the minimum technical requirements that members of the electricity industry must comply with regarding the impact of their activities on the National Electric System (SEN).
- This study makes it possible to evaluate the condition of the electrical infrastructure, its contribution under normal conditions to the SEN, and in case of planned or unplanned events, the impact on it.
- Its objective is to improve efficiency, quality, reliability, continuity, safety, and sustainability of the SEN.
